In a world full of political hyperbole, isn’t it about time we quit listening to the prophecy and start looking for the performance?

Prophecy was for another time. Proverbs 27 instructs us: “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” As Christians it is time to take action for the cause of Christ and quit acquiescing to the edicts and mandates that are contrary to the Word of God. We are commanded in Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Alacrity is the call word for the day. Do it quickly, speedily, with gladness. Isn’t it time we put some “giddy up” in our go? May the Lord bless each of you as you endeavour to serve the Risen Saviour.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Matthew 25:21, KJV

“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.”
Luke 6:22-23, KJV

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
John 15:11, KJV

“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”
John 16:22, KJV

“And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.”
John 17:13, KJV

“And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.”
Acts 13:52, KJV

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 15:13, KJV

“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.”
Philippians 3:1, KJV

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Philippians 4:4, KJV

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
1 Peter 1:7-8, KJV

“But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
1 Peter 4:13, KJV

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,”
Jude 1:24, KJV
